Bower Hill Farm
For the last 25 years the three barns in the yard have been used for overwintering up to 150 cattle each year. Due to recent crisis in agriculture the number of animals has been gradually reduced. Next winter, the small herd of cattle will be housed in a purpose built corral as Mr and Mrs Amos are intending to supplement the farm income by developing the redundant barns.
These buildings have planning permission to be converted into office/workshop units to rent out.
Mrs Amos is also looking at the possibility of using part of a barn to expand the children's nursery.
